Technologies 

· Bio-Dyneema®

This material made famous in ultralight backpacking has the lowest carbon footprint per unit strength of any upper made on the market. It has all of the strength of traditional Dyneema but is made out of timber and pulp waste products making it sustainable and reducing its carbon footprint. The upper is breathable, has excellent water drainage all while preventing debris from entering the shoe while remaining resistant to abrasions when moving over technical terrain.

Arnitel has been used in the midsole of the Women's Norda 005 because it is a lighter, smarter, greener alternative to conventional rubbers, reducing the environmental impact and production costs. Besides the durability and sustainable characteristics Arnitel offers a very high rebound rate: 75-80%, high rebound/density ratio and has consistent performance in all climate conditions. This midsole is made for high mileage race day and or days. Whether you're running a 50k or 250 miler this midsole will be there for you. 

 · The norda™ fit lock system

The 005's proprietary fit lock system is ideal for race day. It features a heel collar with pods that increase foot lockdown, comfort and reduce debris entry. The smooth, perforated microsuede tongue molds to the foot and allows heat to escape during high intensity running. The interior foot binding technology, engaged via the laces, ensures unwavering stability and completes the fit lock system.
