Salomon answered the question the age old question of "how do we make a trail shoe that is highly responsive, cushioned and reasonably priced." Salomon combined their energyFOAM midsole with a TPU energyBLADE speed plate creating exceptionally smooth transitions between foot strike and toe-off while remaining highly cushioned. The Pulsar Trail Pro 2 compared to other high cushioned trail models is nimble on technical downhills as well. This is a shoe trail runners in and around Salida, Co can rely upon during multitude of distances and trail terrain.

• Soft collar 

Creates a locked in feel below the ankle while preventing debris from getting into the shoe during runs on loose and granular terrain. 

• energyFOAM midsole

Combining EVA and Olefin [OBC] this midsole is responsive and soft. The Olefin block copolymers [OBC] are composed of alternating soft and hard blocks The soft blocks deliver flexibility and the hard blocks deliver compression resistance. This technology is the foundation of the Salomon S/Lab Genesis. If you want a highly responsive and soft mountain trail running shoe you have found it! 

• energyBLADE

Made from a light TPU the Energy Blade sits between theContagrip® outsole and energyFOAM midsole. The joined efforts of blade, midsole foam and sole geometry activates forward propulsion and ensures stability on trails.
