Why is a fully removable midsole important to protecting the environment and eliminating waste?
This means you can purchase one upper and outsole and install 3 different midsoles instead of purchasing 3 separate shoes. When your midsole packs out you can simply replace it with another midsole as opposed to purchasing an entirely new shoe.
What happens when the Vibram® Litebase Outsole wears out?
Starting in 2025 you will have the ability to get it resoled reducing the need to purchase an entirely new product.
Why do I need 2 or 3 different midsoles?
Each midsole has a purpose. The NNormal Kboix 01 has three different midsoles that support different speeds, different distances and different terrains. If you train for an ultra most likely you have some combination of easy days, recovery days, uptempo workout days and long run days. On top of those different training days you are probably training on many types of variable terrain. These 3 different midsoles allow you transition easily from an easy day, to workout day, to long run day and finally recovery day without needing 4 or 5 different types of shoes.
At $239.95 for 2 midsoles and 279.95 for 3 midsoles isn't that expensive?
Yes, the upfront cost much higher than a traditional trail running shoe that is typically between $140 to $190 but if you consider that you are actually purchasing 2 or 3 different shoes that cost per is much less. If you purchase the 3 midsoles you are purchasing 3 different shoes for less than $94 per shoe.
How would I utilize this shoe on race day?
Mile 0 to 30 - Let's consider our local Hardrock 100 Qualifier the Highlonesome 100 and you're a mid packer. Early in the race you will be hit with the most technical terrain. During these first 30 miles utilizing the TPU based Reactive midsole will protect your feet on the rocky terrain of Mt. Antero.
Miles 30 to 70 - As the race progress into more runnable terrain you can throw in the Bounce PEBA midsole to help propel you forward when your legs and feet tire out mid race.
Miles 70 to 100 - Finally, if you're anything like me you're applying the one foot forward at a time rule by mile 80 on the Colorado Trail. At this point I need something forgiving and soft since I've destroyed all of my pacing plans. That's why I would throw in the Soft Supercritical EVA Midsole.

For the KBoix 01 there is only one color and you get to choose 2 insoles for $239.95 or 3 for $279.95. The 3 midsoles described below.

How to Fit
If you have worn NNormal products before you will fit in the same size you were in the NNormal Kjerag. You will fit 1/2 down from the any of the NNormal Tomir products you have purchased.
When Will I Receive the NNormal Kboix?
It will ship the last week of November and arrive to you doorstep by the first week of December at the latest.
How Much Stock is Available?
Only 500 units will be available for this initial launch. If you want a pair you will need to purchase immediately to guarantee a pair.
