-You know what sucks...Running up Spiral Drive. So we decided to start a race at the top of Tenderfoot "S" Mountain and run down instead. Welcome to the 2nd Race in the Chaffee County Winter Running Series.

- HOW TO GET TO THE START! IMPORTANT* There is limited parking at the Frontside Parking Lot. Runners and spectators may be dropped off here. Be prepared to walk, hike and or run to the top before 9am. DO NOT PARK ON SPIRAL DRIVE AND BLOCK TRAFFIC. ANY PARTICIPANT WHO DOES SO WILL BE DQ'D AND BANISHED INTO THE DOLLAR STORE ANTON SHADOW REALM. MOST IMPORTANTLY WE NEED EMERGENCY SERVICES TO BE ABLE TO ACCESS THE ROADS.

-For those willing to arrive at the top of Tenderfoot "S" mountain by 8:50am on a winter morning there will be the most beautiful and gradual downhill 5k as your reward. Runners of all abilities will have the opportunity to PR their 5k time with 500 of feet descent. Participants will start in front of the gazebo steps at the top of Tenderfoot Mountain. They will head down Spiral Drive, past the water tower, left on CR 175, left on Hillside drive, turning right onto F Street and finally left into Riverside Park.

-Packet Pickup and Day Before Signup: NOW UNTIL FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 10th from 9am to 6pm at 7000 Feet Running Company. Recommended due to Start at the top of Tenderfoot Mountain.

-Packet Pickup and Same Day Signup: Saturday February 11th, 8:00am to 8:50am at the Frontside Trailhead Parking LOT 1/2 Mile from the top of Tenderfoot "S" Mountain.

-Race Briefing: 8:50AM at Start

-Race Start: 9AM at the top of Tenderfoot "S" Mountain.

-Award Ceremony: 10AM at Riverside Park Amphitheater

-Prizes: Finisher Awards for all Participants. Cash Prizes to Top Male/Female and Masters

- Congrats you've made it this far into the Chaffee County Winter Running Series or maybe you thought it would be fun to run the distance of 7000 Feet as hard as you can? Who knows why we do the things we do? All we know at 7000 Feet Running Company is we wanted to host a race that was approximately the same distance as our name.

-As the penaltament race in the series we wanted to create something anyone could do and provide runners with unique experience they couldn't get anywhere else. The 7000 Feet Time Trial will begin at the Frontside Trailhead Parking lot. This downhill has 200+ feet of ascent for a distance of 7000 Feet. Runners will start in 30 second intervals based on their estimated 7000 Feet Time Trial Time. Runners will come down the entire Burnpile trail, left onto CR 177, left on Hillside Drive for the finish.

-Award Ceremony: 10:30AM at Riverside Park Amphitheater. We will also be presenting the winners of the Chaffee County Winter Running Series Dollar Store Anton Cup!
